Other eye problems that can have night vision impairment are cataracts and glaucoma.
If you are seeing tiny particles looking like they come across your field of vision or perhaps like you cannot see in some part of the field of vision in one of your eyes, this could be a symptom of retinal detachment. This means that medical help is needed to avoid worsening problems.
Eye infections can have symptoms manifesting such as redness and discharge with blurring and/or eye pain and swelling. Infections in other areas such as surrounding the eye in the sinus can cause eye pain and redness with swelling. Conjunctivitis or pink eye as it is commonly named is a very common and highly infectious eye disease that can cause those symptoms as well.
Seeing lights flash across your field of vision or halos around lights can be a symptom of glaucoma, migraines, and corneal problems.
